Non-Cane Molasses Exports

Exports from Kenya

After two years of growth, shipments abroad of molasses (excluding cane molasses) decreased by X% to X tons in 2022. Overall, exports, however, showed a moderate expansion. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2016 when exports increased by X%. Over the period under review, the exports hit record highs at X tons in 2021, and then fell rapidly in the following year.

In value terms, non-cane molasses exports shrank rapidly to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, exports, however, saw a buoyant increase.
