In 2021, after three years of decline, there was significant growth in overseas purchases of concentrated grapefruit juice, when their volume increased by 9.9% to X tons. In general, imports saw significant growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 with an increase of 594% against the previous year. Imports peaked at X tons in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2021, imports remained at a lower figure.

From 2012 to 2021, the average annual growth rate of value from the Netherlands totaled +57.1%. The remaining supplying countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: Spain (+76.6% per year) and Turkey (+8.2% per year).
