Currant And Gooseberry Market Size in Kazakhstan

The revenue of the currant and gooseberry market in Kazakhstan amounted to $X in 2018, coming down by -X% against the previous year. In value terms, the Netherlands ($X) remains the largest currant and gooseberry supplier from Kazakhstan, comprising X% of global exports. The second position in the ranking was occupied by Belgium ($X), with a X% share of global exports. It was followed by Spain, with a X% share.

From 2007 to 2018, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value in the Netherlands totaled +X%. The remaining exporting countries recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Belgium (+X% per year) and Spain (+X% per year).

Over the period under review, currant and gooseberry imports reached their peak figure at X tonnes in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2018, imports failed to regain their momentum.

In value terms, currant and gooseberry imports stood at $X in 2018. Over the period under review, currant and gooseberry imports continue to indicate a remarkable increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2012 with an increase of X% year-to-year. Over the period under review, currant and gooseberry imports attained their maximum at $X in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2018, imports remained at a lower figure.

Imports by Country

In 2018, Germany (X tonnes), distantly followed by Italy (X tonnes), France (X tonnes), the Netherlands (X tonnes), Austria (X tonnes), Belarus (X tonnes) and Belgium (X tonnes) were the main importers of currants and gooseberries, together mixing up X% of total imports. The U.S. (X tonnes), Russia (X tonnes), Portugal (X tonnes), Spain (X tonnes) and Ireland (X tonnes) followed a long way behind the leaders.

From 2007 to 2018, average annual rates of growth with regard to currant and gooseberry imports into Germany stood at +X%. At the same time, Ireland (+X%), Russia (+X%), Portugal (+X%), Spain (+X%), the U.S. (+X%), France (+X%), Belgium (+X%), Austria (+X%) and the Netherlands (+X%) displayed positive paces of growth.
