In value terms, cigarettes containing tobacco exports contracted remarkably to $X in 2020. Over the period under review, exports showed a noticeable descent. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2012 with an increase of X% y-o-y. Over the period under review, exports attained the maximum at $X in 2016; however, from 2017 to 2020, exports remained at a lower figure.

Kyrgyzstan (X tonnes) was the main destination for cigarettes containing tobacco exports from Kazakhstan, accounting for a X% share of total exports. Moreover, cigarettes containing tobacco exports to Kyrgyzstan exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, Mongolia (X tonnes), threefold. The third position in this ranking was occupied by Tajikistan (X tonnes), with a X% share.

From 2007 to 2020, the average annual rate of growth in terms of volume to Kyrgyzstan amounted to -X%. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Mongolia (-X% per year) and Tajikistan (+X% per year).
