Exports from Japan

In 2022, shipments abroad of dolls and toys increased by X% to X tons, rising for the fifth year in a row after two years of decline. Overall, exports continue to indicate buoyant growth. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2018 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. The exports peaked in 2022 and are expected to retain growth in the immediate term.

In value terms, toy exports shrank to $X in 2022. In general, exports showed a strong expansion. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2021 when exports increased by X%. As a result, the exports reached the peak of $X, and then contracted in the following year.
