Exports from Japan

In 2023, overseas shipments of balloons, dirigibles and other non-powered aircraft increased by X% to X units, rising for the third year in a row after two years of decline. Over the period under review, exports, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2013 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. As a result, the exports attained the peak of X units. From 2014 to 2023, the growth of the exports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, balloon and dirigible exports fell modestly to $X in 2023. In general, exports, however, recorded a pronounced downturn.
