The second position in the ranking was held by South Korea ($X), with an 11% share of total exports. It was followed by Taiwan (Chinese), with a 10% share.
From 2012 to 2021, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value to China was relatively modest. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: South Korea (-17.2% per year) and Taiwan (Chinese) (-15.2% per year).

Over the period under review, imports attained the maximum at X tons in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, imports remained at a lower figure.
In value terms, liquid fuel furnace burner imports fell significantly to $X in 2021. In general, imports, however, showed a tangible expansion. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2016 when imports increased by 359%. Over the period under review, imports attained the peak figure at $X in 2020, and then dropped rapidly in the following year.

In 2021, Sweden (X tons) constituted the largest liquid fuel furnace burner supplier to Japan, accounting for a 44% share of total imports.
