Viet Nam (X tonnes) was the main destination for dried vegetables exports from Japan, with a X% share of total exports. Moreover, dried vegetables exports to Viet Nam exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, South Africa (X tonnes), twofold. Hong Kong SAR (X tonnes) ranked third in terms of total exports with a X% share.

In value terms, Taiwan (Chinese) ($X), Viet Nam ($X) and the U.S. ($X) constituted the largest markets for dried vegetables exported from Japan worldwide, together comprising X% of total exports. These countries were followed by Hong Kong SAR, South Africa, Malaysia and the Philippines, which together accounted for a further X the main countries of destination, Hong Kong SAR recorded the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of exports, over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
