Imports into Israel

In 2018, the imports of polyethylene into Israel totaled X tonnes, waning by -X% against the previous year. In general, polyethylene imports, however, continue to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2011 when imports increased by X% y-o-y. Imports peaked at X tonnes in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2018, imports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, polyethylene imports stood at $X in 2018. In general, polyethylene imports, however, continue to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. Imports by Country

The U.S. (X tonnes), Jordan (X tonnes) and Thailand (X tonnes) were the main suppliers of polyethylene imports to Israel, together comprising X% of total imports.

From 2007 to 2018, the most notable rate of growth in terms of imports, amongst the main suppliers, was attained by Thailand, while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
