Acetone Market Size in Israel

The Israeli acetone market rose remarkably to $X in 2020, growing by X% against the previous year. Belgium (X tonnes), the Netherlands (X tonnes) and China (X tonnes) were the main destinations of acetone exports from Israel, with a combined X% share of total exports.

From 2007 to 2020, the biggest increases were in China (+X% per year), while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

Average prices varied noticeably for the major external markets. In 2020, the country with the highest price was Belgium ($X per tonne), while the average price for exports to China ($X per tonne) was amongst the lowest.

From 2007 to 2020, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to China, while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.

The total import volume increased at an average annual rate of +X% from 2007 to 2020; the trend pattern remained consistent, with only minor fluctuations being observed throughout the analyzed period. Moreover, acetone imports from South Africa exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Taiwan (Chinese) (X tonnes), threefold. Spain (X tonnes) ranked third in terms of total imports with a X% share.

From 2007 to 2020, the average annual growth rate of volume from South Africa totaled -X%. The remaining supplying countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: Taiwan (Chinese) (+X% per year) and Spain (+X% per year).

The import price peaked at $X per tonne in 2008; however, from 2009 to 2020, import prices failed to regain the momentum.

Average prices varied noticeably amongst the major supplying countries. In 2020, the countries with the highest prices were Russia ($X per tonne) and South Africa ($X per tonne), while the price for France ($X per tonne) and Turkey ($X per tonne) were amongst the lowest.

From 2007 to 2020, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Switzerland, while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced a decline.
