In value terms, China ($X) remains the key foreign market for vulcanised rubber thread and cord exports from Indonesia, comprising 95% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was held by Sri Lanka ($X), with a 2.5% share of total exports.
From 2012 to 2021, the average annual growth rate of value to China stood at +2.8%. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Sri Lanka (+13.0% per year) and Turkey (-15.2% per year).
