Primary Fiber Crops Exports

Exports from Indonesia

After two years of growth, shipments abroad of fiber crops (primary) decreased by X% to X tons in 2022. In general, exports showed a slight setback. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 with an increase of X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports hit record highs at X tons in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, primary fiber crops exports soared to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, exports, however, showed a temperate increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 with an increase of X%. The exports peaked in 2022 and are likely to continue growth in the near future.

China (X tons) was the main destination for primary fiber crops exports from Indonesia, with a X% share of total exports.
