Dry Peas Market Size in Indonesia

The Indonesian dry peas market shrank markedly to $X in 2020, declining by -X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, exports attained the maximum at $X in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2020, exports failed to regain the momentum.

The Philippines (X tonnes), South Korea (X tonnes) and Singapore (X kg) were the main destinations of dry peas exports from Indonesia, with a combined X% share of total exports.

From 2007 to 2020, the biggest increases were in South Korea (+X% per year), while shipments for the other leaders experienced a decline.

In value terms, the Philippines ($X), South Korea ($X) and Singapore ($X) were the largest markets for dry peas exported from Indonesia worldwide, with a combined X% share of total exports.

Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination; the country with the highest price was Singapore ($X per tonne), while the average price for exports to the Philippines ($X per tonne) was amongst the lowest.

From 2007 to 2020, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Singapore, while the prices for the other major destinations experienced mixed trend patterns.

In 2020, imports of peas (dry) into Indonesia plummeted to X tonnes, which is down by -X% compared with 2019 figures. Overall, imports, however, recorded a remarkable increase. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2014 with an increase of X% year-to-year. As a result, imports attained the peak of X tonnes. From 2015 to 2020, the growth imports failed to regain the momentum.

In value terms, dry peas imports fell markedly to $X in 2020. In general, imports, however, enjoyed a buoyant expansion.
