The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2018 when exports increased by 206%. Over the period under review, the exports attained the peak figure at $X in 2020, and then reduced markedly in the following year.

India (X tons) was the main destination for chemical contraceptive preparations exports from Indonesia, with a 49% share of total exports. Over the period under review, imports reached the peak figure at X tons in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2021, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.
In value terms, chemical contraceptive preparations imports dropped remarkably to $X in 2021. Over the period under review, imports continue to indicate a sharp slump.
