In value terms, largest markets for sawnwood exported from India were the United Arab Emirates ($X), China ($X) and Kuwait ($X), with a combined X% share of total exports. Bahrain, France, Qatar, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Seychelles, Libya and Syrian Arab Republic lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further X%.
Bahrain (+X% per year) recorded the highest growth rate of exports, among the main countries of destination over the last decade, while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In general, sawnwood import price continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2010, an increase of X% against the previous year. The import price peaked of $X per cubic meter in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2017, it failed to regain its momentum.
Import prices varied noticeably by the country of destination; the country with the highest import price was Indonesia ($X per cubic meter), while prices for sawnwood imports from Ecuador ($X per cubic meter) was amongst the lowest.
From 2007 to 2017, the most notable rate of growth in terms of import prices was attained by Russia (+X% per year), the import prices for other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
