Over the period under review, non-electric industrial furnace imports reached their maximum at X tonnes in 2007; however, from 2008 to 2018, imports failed to regain their momentum.

In value terms, non-electric industrial furnace imports totaled $X in 2018. In general, non-electric industrial furnace imports, however, continue to indicate a drastic drop. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 when imports increased by X% year-to-year. Imports peaked at $X in 2007; however, from 2008 to 2018, imports remained at a lower figure.

Imports by Country

In 2018, China (X tonnes) constituted the largest supplier of non-electric industrial furnace to India, with a X% share of total imports. Moreover, non-electric industrial furnace imports from China exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, the U.S. (X tonnes), more than tenfold.
