Melon Market Size in India

In value terms, melon exports expanded remarkably to $X in 2020. Overall, exports posted a significant increase. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2008 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. Exports peaked at $X in 2016; however, from 2017 to 2020, exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

The United Arab Emirates (X tonnes) was the main destination for melon exports from India, accounting for a X% share of total exports. Moreover, melon exports to the United Arab Emirates exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, Qatar (X tonnes), sevenfold. Melon imports into India plummeted to X tonnes in 2020, waning by -X% on the previous year's figure. In general, imports, however, posted a significant increase. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2009 with an increase of X% y-o-y. As a result, imports attained the peak of X tonnes. from 2010 to 2020, the growth imports remained at a lower figure.

The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2009 when imports increased by X% y-o-y. As a result, imports reached the peak of $X. from 2010 to 2020, the growth imports remained at a lower figure.
