Over the period under review, exports hit record highs at $X in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2020, exports remained at a lower figure.

The United Arab Emirates (X tons) was the main destination for imitation jewellery exports from India, with a X% share of total exports. Moreover, imitation jewellery exports to the United Arab Emirates exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, Afghanistan (X tons), fivefold. Bangladesh (X tons) ranked third in terms of total exports with a X% share.

From 2007 to 2020, the average annual rate of growth in terms of volume to the United Arab Emirates totaled -X%. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Afghanistan (+X% per year) and Bangladesh (+X% per year).
