The Netherlands (X units), Slovakia (X units) and the Czech Republic (X units) were the main destinations of spectacle non-plastic frame exports from Hungary, together comprising X% of total exports. These countries were followed by Italy, Sweden, Poland, Estonia and Hong Kong SAR, which together accounted for a further X 2012 to 2021, the biggest increases were in Sweden (with a CAGR of +X%), while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In general, the export price continues to indicate a noticeable setback. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2017 an increase of X%. Prices varied noticeably country of destination: the country with the highest price was Hong Kong SAR ($X per unit), while the average price for exports to Slovakia ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.

Overall, imports, however, continue to indicate a remarkable increase. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2015 with an increase of X%. Over the period under review, imports attained the peak figure at X units in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2021, imports failed to regain momentum.
In value terms, spectacle non-plastic frame imports expanded remarkably to $X in 2021. Over the period under review, imports, however, continue to indicate a resilient expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2015 with an increase of X%. In 2021, China (X units) constituted the largest supplier of spectacle non-plastic frame to Hungary, accounting for a X% share of total imports.
