Turkey (X tonnes), China (X tonnes) and Germany (X tonnes) were the main destinations of organic pigments exports from Greece, with a combined X% share of total exports. Poland, Romania, Egypt, Spain, Italy, Serbia, Russia, France and Israel lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further X 2007 to 2018, the most notable rate of growth in terms of exports, amongst the main countries of destination, was attained by Spain (+X% per year), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

Over the period under review, the average export prices for synthetic organic coloring matter and pigments attained their peak figure at $X per tonne in 2007; however, from 2008 to 2018, export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

There were significant differences in the average prices for the major foreign markets. In 2018, the country with the highest price was France ($X per tonne), while the average price for exports to Spain ($X per tonne) was amongst the lowest.

The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2016 when imports increased by X% year-to-year. Imports peaked at X tonnes in 2007; however, from 2008 to 2018, imports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, organic pigments imports amounted to $X in 2018. Overall, organic pigments imports continue to indicate a deep slump. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2013 when imports increased by X% y-o-y.
