Exports from Greece

For the seventh year in a row, Greece recorded growth in overseas shipments of sausages and similar products of meat, which increased by X% to X tons in 2022. In general, exports posted a prominent increase. As a result, the exports attained the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

In value terms, sausage exports rose significantly to $X in 2022. Overall, exports recorded a prominent increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 with an increase of X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports hit record highs in 2022 and are expected to retain growth in the immediate term.

Exports by Country

Bulgaria (X tons), Cyprus (X tons) and Germany (X tons) were the main destinations of sausage exports from Greece, with a combined X% share of total exports. The UK, Romania, Belgium and Albania lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further X%.
