The Greek bus market surged to $X in 2020, increasing by X% against the previous year. Israel (X units), Afghanistan (X units) and Germany (X units) were the main destinations of bus exports from Greece, together accounting for X% of total exports.

Bus imports into Greece surged to X units in 2020, growing by X% on the previous year's figure. Over the period under review, imports, however, showed a deep setback. Imports peaked at X units in 2007; however, from 2008 to 2020, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, bus imports surged to $X in 2020. In general, imports, however, recorded a drastic downturn. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2016 with an increase of X% against the previous year. Imports peaked at $X in 2009; however, from 2010 to 2020, imports failed to regain the momentum.

In 2020, Germany (X units) constituted the largest supplier of bus to Greece, with a X% share of total imports. The average bus import price stood at $X per unit in 2020, declining by -X% against the previous year. In general, the import price showed a perceptible decrease. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2009 an increase of X% year-to-year. Over the period under review, average import prices hit record highs at $X per unit in 2010; however, from 2011 to 2020, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2020, the country with the highest price was Turkey ($X per unit), while the price for Denmark ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.

From 2007 to 2020, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Bulgaria, while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced mixed trend patterns.
