For the third year in a row, Greece recorded growth in shipments abroad of prepared or preserved meat or offal of bovine animals, which increased by X% to X tons in 2022. In general, exports recorded a resilient increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 when exports increased by X%. Over the period under review, the exports reached the peak figure in 2022 and are likely to see gradual growth in the immediate term.

In value terms, preserved cows meat exports rose notably to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, exports recorded a prominent expansion. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2016 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. The exports peaked in 2022 and are likely to continue growth in years to come.

Cyprus (X tons), the UK (X tons) and Germany (X tons) were the main destinations of preserved cows meat exports from Greece, together comprising X% of total exports. Romania, Qatar, Sweden and Italy lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further X%.
