Malta, with a CAGR of +79.2%, saw the highest growth rate of the value of exports, in terms of the main countries of destination over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 when the average export price increased by 44% against the previous year. Overall, imports recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. As a result, imports attained the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

In 2022, Turkey (X tons) constituted the largest supplier of glass fibres and wool to Greece, accounting for a 39% share of total imports.
