In value terms, garlic exports stood at $X in 2018. Overall, garlic exports continue to indicate an abrupt downturn. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 with an increase of X% against the previous year. Exports peaked at $X in 2007; however, from 2008 to 2018, exports failed to regain their momentum.

Romania (X tonnes), Germany (X tonnes) and Cyprus (X tonnes) were the main destinations of garlic exports from Greece, together accounting for X% of total exports.

From 2007 to 2018, the most notable rate of growth in terms of exports, amongst the main countries of destination, was attained by Germany, while the other leaders experienced mixed trend patterns.

In value terms, the largest markets for garlic exported from Greece were Cyprus ($X), Romania ($X) and Germany ($X), together comprising X% of total exports.
