Exports from Greece
In 2022, shipments abroad of champagne was finally on the rise to reach X litres for the first time since 2015, thus ending a six-year declining trend. In general, exports, however, continue to indicate a abrupt setback. The exports peaked at X litres in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2022, the exports remained at a lower figure.
In value terms, champagne exports surged to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, exports, however, showed a deep contraction. Over the period under review, the exports hit record highs at $X in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, the exports failed to regain momentum.

Kosovo (X litres) was the main destination for champagne exports from Greece, with a X% share of total exports. Moreover, champagne exports to Kosovo exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, the United States (X litres), twofold. Turkey (X litres) ranked third in terms of total exports with an X% share.
