Exports from Ghana

In 2022, shipments abroad of wood fuel decreased by X% to X cubic meters, falling for the eighth consecutive year after three years of growth. In general, exports continue to indicate a precipitous shrinkage. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2014 with an increase of X% against the previous year. As a result, the exports attained the peak of X cubic meters. From 2015 to 2022, the growth of the exports failed to regain momentum.

In value terms, wood fuel exports plummeted to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, exports showed a sharp slump. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2013 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports attained the maximum at $X in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, the exports failed to regain momentum.
