Imports into Ghana

Graphite non-electrical articles imports into Ghana declined to X tons in 2022, waning by -13.3% on the previous year. In general, imports, however, posted significant growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2019 with an increase of 624% against the previous year. Imports peaked at X tons in 2021, and then dropped in the following year.

In value terms, graphite non-electrical articles imports dropped sharply to $X in 2022. Overall, imports, however, saw a resilient increase. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2019 with an increase of 468%. As a result, imports attained the peak of $X. From 2020 to 2022, the growth of imports failed to regain momentum.

Belgium (X tons), Turkey (X tons) and Spain (X kg) were the main suppliers of graphite non-electrical articles imports to Ghana, together comprising 52% of total imports.
