Exports from Ghana

In 2022, shipments abroad of coconuts decreased by X% to X tons, falling for the second year in a row after two years of growth. In general, exports, however, enjoyed strong growth. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2020 with an increase of X%. As a result, the exports reached the peak of X tons. From 2021 to 2022, the growth of the exports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, coconut exports shrank rapidly to $X in 2022. Overall, exports, however, showed a significant increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2014 with an increase of X% against the previous year. The exports peaked at $X in 2020; however, from 2021 to 2022, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Turkey (X tons), the UK (X tons) and the United States (X tons) were the main destinations of coconut exports from Ghana, together comprising X% of total exports.
