Exports from Ghana

After two years of growth, overseas shipments of beer decreased by X% to X litres in 2022. Overall, exports recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 when exports increased by X%. As a result, the exports attained the peak of X litres. From 2015 to 2022, the growth of the exports failed to regain momentum.

In value terms, beer exports reduced dramatically to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, exports showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2014 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports reached the peak figure at $X in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2022, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Togo (X litres) was the main destination for beer exports from Ghana, with a X% share of total exports. Over the period under review, imports reached the maximum at X litres in 2021, and then contracted sharply in the following year.
