These countries were followed by China, Japan, Italy, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, the Netherlands, the United States and Poland, which together accounted for a further 42%.
Hungary, with a CAGR of +17.3%, recorded the highest growth rate of the value of exports, in terms of the main countries of destination over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2021, the average wood slicing machine export price amounted to $X per unit, rising by 11% against the previous year. In general, the export price showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2015 when the average export price increased by 53% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports, however, showed a mild downturn. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2018 with an increase of 23%. Imports peaked at X units in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2021, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Overall, total imports indicated a slight increase from 2012 to 2021: its value increased at an average annual rate of +1.2% over the last nine years. Moreover, wood slicing machine imports from China exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, the Netherlands (X units), threefold. The third position in this ranking was held by Austria (X units), with a 6.5% share.

In value terms, China ($X) constituted the largest supplier of wood slicing machine to Germany, comprising 33% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was taken by the Czech Republic ($X), with a 15% share of total imports. It was followed by the Netherlands, with a 13% share.
From 2012 to 2021, the average annual growth rate of value from China amounted to -2.4%. The remaining supplying countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: the Czech Republic (+38.7% per year) and the Netherlands (+48.2% per year).
