Canned Mushroom Market Size in Germany

In value terms, canned mushroom exports contracted rapidly to $X in 2020. In general, exports showed modest growth. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2008 when exports increased by X% y-o-y. As a result, exports reached the peak of $X. from 2009 to 2020, the growth exports failed to regain the momentum.

Belgium (X tonnes), Austria (X tonnes) and the Netherlands (X tonnes) were the main destinations of canned mushroom exports from Germany, together accounting for X% of total exports. France, Switzerland, Hungary, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Japan, the United Arab Emirates, Croatia and Romania lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further X 2007 to 2020, the biggest increases were in Japan (+X% per year), while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In value terms, Belgium ($X), Switzerland ($X) and the Netherlands ($X) appeared to be the largest markets for canned mushroom exported from Germany worldwide, together accounting for X% of total exports. These countries were followed by Austria, France, Poland, Hungary, Spain, Japan, Portugal, Romania, Croatia and the United Arab Emirates, which together accounted for a further X (+X% per year) recorded the highest growth rate of the value of exports, in terms of the main countries of destination over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2020, the average canned mushroom export price amounted to $X per tonne, growing by X% against the previous year. Over the period from 2007 to 2020, it increased at an average annual rate of +X%. As a result, export price attained the peak level and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination; the country with the highest price was Switzerland ($X per tonne), while the average price for exports to the United Arab Emirates ($X per tonne) was amongst the lowest.

From 2007 to 2020, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Poland, while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
