The German beer market was finally on the rise to reach $X in 2022, after three years of decline. Overall, consumption, however, showed a mild decline. Over the period under review, the market hit record highs at $X in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, consumption stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Exports from Germany

Beer exports from Germany fell slightly to X litres in 2022, with a decrease of X% against the previous year's figure. In general, exports recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2016 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. As a result, the exports attained the peak of X litres. From 2017 to 2022, the growth of the exports failed to regain momentum.
