Mineral Wool Market Size in France

In 2020, the French mineral wool market decreased by -X% to $X for the first time since 2016, thus ending a three-year rising trend. Over the period under review, consumption, however, showed a relatively flat trend pattern. These countries were followed by the Netherlands, Belgium, the Czech Republic, the UK, Tunisia, Portugal, Poland and China, which together accounted for a further X 2007 to 2020, the most notable rate of growth in terms of shipments, amongst the main countries of destination, was attained by the Netherlands, while exports for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2008 when the average export price increased by X% year-to-year. As a result, export price attained the peak level of $X per tonne. From 2009 to 2020, the growth in terms of the average export prices failed to regain the momentum.

Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination; the country with the highest price was China ($X per tonne), while the average price for exports to the Netherlands ($X per tonne) was amongst the lowest.

The import price peaked at $X per tonne in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2020, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2020, the country with the highest price was Belgium ($X per tonne), while the price for Portugal ($X per tonne) was amongst the lowest.
