From 2007 to 2018, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to the Philippines, while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

Imports into France

In 2018, the imports of pork into France totaled X tonnes, surging by X% against the previous year. Overall, pork imports, however, continue to indicate a slight contraction. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2010 with an increase of X% year-to-year. Imports peaked at X tonnes in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2018, imports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, pork imports totaled $X in 2018. In general, pork imports, however, continue to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 when imports increased by X% against the previous year. Imports peaked at $X in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2018, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In 2018, Spain (X tonnes) constituted the largest supplier of pork to France, with a X% share of total imports. Moreover, pork imports from Spain exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Germany (X tonnes), sixfold. The third position in this ranking was occupied by Denmark (X tonnes), with a X% share.
