From 2007 to 2020, the most notable rate of growth in terms of shipments, amongst the main countries of destination, was attained by Mexico, while exports for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In value terms, Germany ($X), Belgium ($X) and the Netherlands ($X) were the largest markets for electronic chip exported from France worldwide, with a combined X% share of total exports.

Over the period under review, imports, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2010 with an increase of X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs at X units in 2019, and then declined in the following year.

In value terms, electronic chip imports shrank to $X in 2020. In general, imports, however, saw a slight curtailment.
