Aircraft Exports

Exports from France

Aircraft exports from France dropped rapidly to X units in 2023, which is down by X% compared with the previous year's figure. Over the period under review, exports, however, saw significant growth. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2022 when exports increased by X%. As a result, the exports attained the peak of X units, and then reduced markedly in the following year.

In value terms, aircraft exports fell markedly to $X in 2023. Overall, exports, however, saw a resilient increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 with an increase of X% against the previous year. The exports peaked at $X in 2022, and then shrank dramatically in the following year.

Exports by Country

The United States (X units), Egypt (X units) and Switzerland (X units) were the main destinations of aircraft exports from France, with a combined X% share of total exports. The Czech Republic, Indonesia, Spain, Italy, the United Arab Emirates, Germany, Belgium, Mozambique and Malaysia lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further X%.

From 2012 to 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of shipments, amongst the main countries of destination, was attained by the United Arab Emirates (with a CAGR of X%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2023, approx. X units of airplanes and other aircraft were imported into France; jumping by X% compared with the year before. In general, imports showed a prominent increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when imports increased by X%. Imports peaked in 2023 and are expected to retain growth in years to come.
