Beef Market Size in Finland

The Finnish beef market amounted to $X in 2020, growing by X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, consumption saw a slight shrinkage. Over the period under review, exports attained the maximum at X tonnes in 2019, and then contracted notably in the following year.

In value terms, beef exports rose modestly to $X in 2020. In general, exports, however, showed a measured increase. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2019 with an increase of X% year-to-year. Exports peaked in 2020 and are expected to retain growth in the near future.

Denmark (X tonnes) and Sweden (X tonnes) were the main destinations of beef exports from Finland.

From 2007 to 2020, the most notable rate of growth in terms of shipments, amongst the main countries of destination, was attained by Denmark.

In value terms, Denmark ($X) and Sweden ($X) were the largest markets for beef exported from Finland worldwide.

The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2020 figures, imports decreased by -X% against 2018 indices. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2011 when imports increased by X% year-to-year. Imports peaked at X tonnes in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2020, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.
