In 2021, the Netherlands (X units) and Finland (X units) were the main exporters of motor vehicles for travelling on snow or golf cars in Europe, together accounting for near 51% of total exports. Germany (X units) took a 9.9% share (based on physical terms) of total exports, which put it in second place, followed by Belgium (8.4%), the UK (6.7%) and Slovakia (5.8%). Spain (X units) took a relatively small share of total exports.
From 2012 to 2021, the biggest increases were in Belgium (with a CAGR of +46.7%), while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, Finland ($X) remains the largest snow motor vehicle supplier in Europe, comprising 47% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was taken by the Netherlands ($X), with an 11% share of total exports. It was followed by Germany, with a 10% share.
From 2012 to 2021, the average annual growth rate of value in Finland amounted to +30.0%. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: the Netherlands (+89.1% per year) and Germany (+47.4% per year).

The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2014 an increase of 342%. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $X per unit; afterwards, it flattened through to 2021.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major exporting countries. In 2021, the country with the highest price was Finland ($X per unit), while the Netherlands ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by the Netherlands (+116.2%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2021, the amount of motor vehicles for travelling on snow or golf cars imported in Europe expanded notably to X units, rising by 12% compared with the year before. Overall, imports recorded prominent growth. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2020 with an increase of 186% against the previous year. The volume of import peaked in 2021 and is likely to see steady growth in the near future.
In value terms, snow motor vehicle imports expanded sharply to $X in 2021. In general, imports saw buoyant growth. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2020 with an increase of 153% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports reached the maximum in 2021 and are expected to retain growth in the near future.

In value terms, the largest snow motor vehicle importing markets in Europe were Russia ($X), Sweden ($X) and the Netherlands ($X), together comprising 38% of total imports. The UK, Italy, Germany, Belgium, France, Spain, Austria and Greece lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 44%.
Austria, with a CAGR of +192.2%, saw the highest growth rate of the value of imports, among the main importing countries over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

Over the period under review, the import price continues to indicate a perceptible shrinkage. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2017 when the import price increased by 47% against the previous year. The level of import peaked at $X per unit in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2021, import prices failed to regain momentum.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major importing countries. In 2021, the country with the highest price was Russia ($X per unit), while Greece ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
