Exports in Europe
In 2022, the amount of electrical insulating fittings of plastics exported in Europe dropped to X tons, falling by X% against the previous year. Total exports indicated a noticeable expansion from 2012 to 2022: its volume increased at an average annual rate of X% over the last decade. Germany was the major exporter of electrical insulating fittings of plastics in Europe, with the volume of exports accounting for X tons, which was approx. X% of total exports in 2022. The Czech Republic (X tons) held the second position in the ranking, distantly followed by Austria (X tons), Belgium (X tons) and Hungary (X tons). All these countries together held near X% share of total exports. Italy (X tons), Spain (X tons), Poland (X tons), France (X tons), Romania (X tons) and Slovenia (X tons) took a little share of total exports.
Exports from Germany increased at an average annual rate of X% from 2012 to 2022. At the same time, Romania (X%), Slovenia (X%), Belgium (X%), Spain (X%), Austria (X%), Hungary (X%), France (X%), the Czech Republic (X%) and Poland (X%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Romania emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in Europe, with a CAGR of X% from 2012-2022. Italy experienced a relatively flat trend pattern. From 2012 to 2022, the share of Belgium, Germany, Romania and Austria increased by X, X, X and X percentage points, respectively. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.
In value terms, Germany ($X) remains the largest electrical insulating fittings supplier in Europe, comprising X% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was taken by the Czech Republic ($X), with a X% share of total exports. It was followed by Hungary, with a X% share.
In Germany, electrical insulating fittings exports expanded at an average annual rate of X% over the period from 2012-2022. The remaining exporting countries recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: the Czech Republic (X% per year) and Hungary (X% per year).

In 2022, purchases abroad of electrical insulating fittings of plastics increased by X% to X tons, rising for the second year in a row after two years of decline. The total import volume increased at an average annual rate of X% over the period from 2012 to 2022; the trend pattern remained relatively stable, with only minor fluctuations being observed throughout the analyzed period. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 with an increase of X%. The volume of import peaked at X tons in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2022, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, the largest electrical insulating fittings importing markets in Europe were Germany ($X), the Czech Republic ($X) and Romania ($X), together comprising X% of total imports.
