Exports in the EU

In 2022, after three years of growth, there was decline in shipments abroad of sanitary ware and parts of copper, when their volume decreased by X% to X tons. The total export volume increased at an average annual rate of X% from 2012 to 2022; however, the trend pattern indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 with an increase of X%. As a result, the exports reached the peak of X tons, leveling off in the following year.

In value terms, copper sanitary ware exports amounted to $X in 2022. The total export value increased at an average annual rate of X% from 2012 to 2022; however, the trend pattern indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when exports increased by X%. The level of export peaked in 2022 and is expected to retain growth in the near future.

In 2022, Germany (X tons) represented the major exporter of sanitary ware and parts of copper, creating X% of total exports. By contrast, the Czech Republic (X%), Italy (X%), Portugal (X%) and Spain (X%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. In value terms, Germany ($X) remains the largest copper sanitary ware supplier in the European Union, comprising X% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Italy ($X), with a X% share of total exports. It was followed by Belgium, with a X% share.

In Germany, copper sanitary ware exports expanded at an average annual rate of X% over the period from 2012-2022. The remaining exporting countries recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Italy (X% per year) and Belgium (X% per year).
