In 2022, the amount of printed or illustrated postcards and printed cards exported in the European Union reduced to X tons, dropping by X% on the previous year. In general, exports saw a abrupt setback. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2014 with an increase of X% against the previous year. The volume of export peaked at X tons in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2022, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.
In value terms, postcard exports dropped notably to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, exports, however, saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 with an increase of X%. As a result, the exports attained the peak of $X. From 2018 to 2022, the growth of the exports remained at a lower figure.
Exports by Country
In 2022, the Netherlands (X tons) and Belgium (X tons) were the largest exporters of printed or illustrated postcards and printed cards in the European Union, together resulting at approx. X% of total exports. Germany (X tons) ranks next in terms of the total exports with a X% share, followed by France (X%). The following exporters - Italy (X tons), Poland (X tons), the Czech Republic (X tons), Spain (X tons), Sweden (X tons) and Austria (X tons) - together made up X% of total exports.

Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was France ($X per ton), while Belgium ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
