In value terms, melamine exports shrank significantly to $X in 2020. Over the period under review, exports continue to indicate a abrupt shrinkage. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2013 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. The level of export peaked at $X in 2008; however, from 2009 to 2020, exports remained at a lower figure.

Germany was the major exporter of melamine in the European Union, with the volume of exports finishing at X tonnes, which was near X% of total exports in 2020.
