In value terms, the largest knitted fabric markets worldwide were Italy ($X), Spain ($X) and Germany ($X), with a combined X% share of total imports. These countries were followed by France, Hungary, Romania, the Netherlands, Poland, the Czech Republic, the UK, Bulgaria and Belgium, which together accounted for a further X%.

Among the main importing countries , the Netherlands (+X% per year) recorded the highest rates of growth with regard to imports, over the last decade, while the other leaders experienced mixed trends in the imports figures.
