Exports in the EU
For the third year in a row, the European Union recorded growth in overseas shipments of intake air filters for internal combustion engines, which increased by X% to X units in 2022. In general, exports continue to indicate a strong expansion. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports hit record highs in 2022 and are expected to retain growth in the near future.
In value terms, intake air filter exports reduced to $X in 2022. Total exports indicated buoyant growth from 2012 to 2022: its value increased at an average annual rate of X% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, exports increased by X% against 2016 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when exports increased by X%. As a result, the exports attained the peak of $X, and then declined modestly in the following year.

In 2022, Germany (X units), distantly followed by Poland (X units), Belgium (X units), the Czech Republic (X units), France (X units) and the Netherlands (X units) represented the main exporters of intake air filters for internal combustion engines, together committing X% of total exports. Italy (X units) took a little share of total exports.
From 2012 to 2022, the biggest increases were recorded for the Czech Republic (with a CAGR of X%), while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Belgium ($X per unit), while Poland ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by France (X%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

Imports in the EU
In 2022, the amount of intake air filters for internal combustion engines imported in the European Union dropped slightly to X units, leveling off at the previous year. Total imports indicated a notable increase from 2012 to 2022: its volume increased at an average annual rate of X% over the last decade.
