Exports in the EU

Aluminium tube exports reduced to X tons in 2022, waning by X% against the previous year's figure. In general, exports continue to indicate a noticeable shrinkage. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 when exports increased by X%. Over the period under review, the exports hit record highs at X tons in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, the exports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, aluminium tube exports amounted to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, exports continue to indicate a noticeable slump. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2017 when exports increased by X%. The level of export peaked at $X in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, the exports remained at a lower figure.

In 2022, Poland (X tons), distantly followed by Italy (X tons), Spain (X tons), Germany (X tons), the Netherlands (X tons) and Portugal (X tons) represented the key exporters of aluminium tubes and pipes, together generating X% of total exports. There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major exporting countries. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Germany ($X per ton), while Slovenia ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.

In value terms, aluminium tube imports surged to $X in 2022. Total imports indicated a modest increase from 2012 to 2022: its value increased at an average annual rate of X% over the last decade.
