From 2007 to 2020, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Sudan, while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2020, the amount of umbrellas imported into Egypt reduced notably to X tonnes, shrinking by -X% on the year before. Over the period under review, imports, however, posted a moderate expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2008 with an increase of X% against the previous year. Imports peaked at X tonnes in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2020, imports remained at a lower figure.

In 2020, China (X tonnes) constituted the largest supplier of umbrella to Egypt, accounting for a X% share of total imports. Moreover, umbrella imports from China exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Turkey (X tonnes), threefold. Italy (X tonnes) ranked third in terms of total imports with a X% share.

From 2007 to 2020, the average annual growth rate of volume from China totaled +X%. The remaining supplying countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: Turkey (+X% per year) and Italy (+X% per year).
