In 2022, the amount of prepared additives for cements, mortars or concretes exported from Egypt declined markedly to X tons, which is down by X% compared with 2021. Over the period under review, exports showed a perceptible contraction. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2019 with an increase of X%. The exports peaked at X tons in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, prepared additives for cements exports shrank rapidly to $X in 2022. Overall, exports, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 with an increase of X% against the previous year. As a result, the exports reached the peak of $X, and then shrank markedly in the following year.

Over the period under review, imports enjoyed a buoyant expansion. As a result, imports attained the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
