Photographic Paper Market Size in Ecuador

The Ecuadorian photographic paper market shrank to $X in 2021, with a decrease of -8.3% against the previous year. Photographic Paper Imports

Imports into Ecuador

Photographic paper imports into Ecuador expanded notably to X square meters in 2021, picking up by 5.5% on the year before. Overall, imports, however, saw a significant decline. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2017 when imports increased by 44%. Imports peaked at X square meters in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2021, imports failed to regain momentum.

In value terms, photographic paper imports reduced to $X in 2021. Over the period under review, imports, however, faced a precipitous setback. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 with an increase of 30% against the previous year. Imports peaked at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, imports remained at a lower figure.

In 2021, China (X square meters) constituted the largest supplier of photographic paper to Ecuador, with a 62% share of total imports. Moreover, photographic paper imports from China exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, the United States (X square meters), fourfold. From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Brazil (+4.6%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced a decline.
