Exports in ECOWAS

In 2022, after two years of growth, there was significant decline in overseas shipments of polycarboxylic acids, when their volume decreased by X% to X tons. Overall, exports, however, saw noticeable growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. As a result, the exports reached the peak of X tons. From 2014 to 2022, the growth of the exports failed to regain momentum.

In value terms, polycarboxylic acid exports expanded to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, exports saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2013 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. As a result, the exports reached the peak of $X. From 2014 to 2022, the growth of the exports remained at a lower figure.

Senegal was the largest exporter of polycarboxylic acids in ECOWAS, with the volume of exports finishing at X tons, which was near X% of total exports in 2022.
